Overview
Between the Notes brings together work by three acclaimed Irish artists — Lorcan Vallely, Barry Kerr and Liam O’Neill — in an exhibition exploring the connections between music, memory, community and place.
The exhibition brings together scenes of musicians gathering in Belfast’s streets and squares with more intimate reflections on landscape, culture and personal memory. Through charcoal and oil, each artist offers a distinctive interpretation of the people, places and shared experiences that connect us.
The exhibition opens at 7.00pm on Tuesday 4 August, accompanied by live traditional musicians, and continues at Gormleys Belfast until Saturday 22 August 2026.
