‘Art + Soul International Art and Sculpture Exhibition’ arrives in a magnificent new setting this August, the five-star Mount Juliet Estate in Co. Kilkenny, and forms part of Kilkenny Arts Festival.

 

Taking place from 8 August to 5 September, the historic Georgian estate will be transformed into an extraordinary open-air gallery, where more than 100 life-size outdoor sculptures will be set throughout the estates 500 acres of pristine gardens and parkland, creating one of the country's most unique visual arts experiences.

 

Widely regarded as one of Ireland's premier destinations, Mount Juliet Estate provides an exceptional backdrop for the exhibition. The elegant 1757 Manor House, the heart of the estate, will become an indoor gallery showcasing an outstanding collection of contemporary artworks by some of the world's most influential artists, including Andy Warhol, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Bridget Riley and Tracey Emin, alongside exceptional contemporary Irish painters and sculptors.

 

Among the highlights are a remarkable collection of life-size outdoor sculptures by world-renowned artists Salvador Dalí, Philip Jackson and Michael Ayrton, together with an impressive six-metre by three-metre installation by acclaimed British sculptor Sophie Ryder.

 

Throughout the exhibition, visitors can also enjoy a programme of artists' talks and daily guided tours, offering unique insights into the creative processes behind the works on display and the stories of the artists who created them.
