Patrick Rubinstein- Perspectives : Gormleys Dublin

Gormleys is delighted to present a new exhibition by internationally acclaimed French artist Patrick Rubinstein, opening at Gormleys Dublin on 15 October and running until 2 November 2026.

 

Renowned for his distinctive fusion of Kinetic, Op and Pop Art, Rubinstein creates visually captivating works that transform and shift as the viewer moves before them. His signature technique, known as Kinetic Op Art, combines multiple images within a single composition, creating a sense of movement and different perspectives.

 

Drawing inspiration from the worlds of art, music, fashion and popular culture, Rubinstein’s work brings together iconic imagery in his unique contemporary visual language. His layered compositions invite the viewer to engage with the artwork from different perspectives, revealing new details and images with every change in position.

 

Rubinstein began experimenting with optical effects from a young age, developing the technique that would become central to his practice. Today, his work is exhibited internationally and held in private and public collections around the world.

 

This exhibition offers collectors and visitors the opportunity to experience Rubinstein’s dynamic works in person, where light, movement and perspective combine to create an immersive visual experience.
