Gormleys x USWA

7 - 21 March 2026
Overview

Gormleys are delighted to present this exhibition in support of the Ulster Society of Women Artists, showcasing the work of Jenny Hamilton, Hannah Ferguson, Louise Lennon, and Ruth Edens. Though distinct in medium and approach, each artist shares a deep connection to nature and place.

Hamilton’s layered oil paintings capture the joy and nostalgia of gardens and seasonal blooms. Ferguson’s terracotta vessels, carved using sgraffito, draw on her printmaking background and the folk traditions of Northern Irish craft. Lennon’s atmospheric landscapes reflect the quiet beauty of rural Armagh, where familiar fields and farm lanes hold memory and meaning. Edens brings an impressionist sensitivity to flowers and plants, using oils to explore colour, movement, and light.

From expressive oils to beautifully crafted ceramic forms, the collection reflects the strength and diversity of women’s creative voices in Northern Ireland.

Gormleys is proud to champion this important platform and invites visitors to engage with work that is thoughtful, uplifting, and artistically accomplished.
