Harry Brioche- Mourne Light: Gormleys Belfast

Gormleys is proud to present a captivating exhibition by renowned landscape artist Harry Brioche, taking place in our Belfast gallery from 27th September - 16th October.

The exhibition showcases a stunning collection of paintings inspired by the dramatic beauty and ever-changing landscape of the Mourne Mountains.

 “Mourne Light” features new original oil paintings that celebrate the atmospheric splendour, sweeping skies and valleys of one of Northern Ireland’s most iconic natural landscapes.

Known for his evocative use of light and expressive skies, Brioche’s work is a deeply personal response to the landscape, blending realism with a dreamlike quality that invites viewers to connect with nature on an emotional level. This exhibition marks the artist’s first major solo show in Belfast and highlights his growing fascination with the raw and poetic landscapes of Ireland.

“The Mourne Mountains possess a unique, untamed beauty that is both humbling and uplifting,” says Brioche. “This body of work is my tribute to the essence of the place with its shifting skies, silent valleys, and timeless grandeur.”
