Patrick O'Reilly is a highly acclaimed Irish sculptor who has achieved significant international success. Twelve life-size bronze sculptures are on display by O'Reilly in various locations across the city; allowing the public to enjoy and interact with these spectacular artworks in an outdoor setting.
On show are a number O’Reilly’s much loved Bear sculptures which can be seen in Greystones, Tallaght University Hospital, Adare Manor and previously the 3 Arena/ Point Depot. New works in his recent Kintsugi series will also feature including his incredible red ‘Broken Heart’ & gold 'Heart in Hand’ works. Both are influenced by the pandemic and are now symbolic of our recovery.
The sculpture trail offers an immersive art experience like no other, where the public can safely re-engage with the arts and explore the city in a unique way.
The event takes place from Friday 17th September to Monday 4th October and is supported by Culture Night, Dublin City Council and Office Public Works.
