“Observing life through a creative lens is cathartic”
John Ronan (b.1982 Dublin, Ireland) is a self-taught Irish sculptor. He is drawn to the presence of sculpture and its command of attention. Working traditionally in the medium of Bronze, Ronan enjoys that is permanent and everlasting.
 
His work looks at the human condition and our place within the world, both physically and mentally. He seeks to deliver honest work; be it vice or virtue. “Observing life through a creative lens is cathartic”. His debut pieces ‘Struggle’ & ‘Free’ consider a premise that we best psychologically ‘Die before Death’ and return “broken whole to truly experience this life, free of its shackles”.
 
“The journey to creative work is challenging and exhilarating. I think it’s normal to experience apprehension the first time out, exposed, but it’s whet my appetite to learn and evolve and play with the ideas. Never mind the honour of exhibiting alongside such illustrious artists”.
